What exactly is a Light Noise Short Film?

1 cup of wonder, a handful of awesome, and a pinch of 'heck yeah', thrown in to a pile of footage and stirred for days. 

Our Light Noise Short Film is a highly edited, stylish film, cut to a single song (music video style). The short film is footage from the entire day, cut down to one bite sized package thats perfect for sharing around between friends and family. We aim to make films that you'll enjoy watching over and over for years to come. 

Where are you based?

Brooke & Bree are based near Hobart TAS and Rach is based in Newcastle NSW

Do you Travel?

We sure do! We've been lucky enough to shoot weddings throughout Australia, down the dusty outback lanes, in our major cities and all over the world. We love to travel, so let us know where you're thinking of tying the knot and we'll check with our closest videographer for availability. We do charge a small travel fee to help cover accomodation and travel expenses.

How long will it take to get our film?

Usually around 4-8 weeks after confirming a song with us. In peak season allow us some extra time to get it to you.

So who choses the song? 

We like to make it a joint effort. For starters, we licence our music from licensing websites so your film wont ever get taken down or deleted due to copywrite issues. So after trawling through a whole heap of music, we will send you a hand full of songs that we really think suit your vibe and what kind of edit we're dreaming up. You can of course then tell us straight up whether you love where we're at, or don't like any of the songs and point us in a different direction. We will go back and forth until we find the perfect tune and then huzzah! it starts!

How many shooters come on the day?

One! We prefer to run solo, so we don't crowd up your wedding day and get in each others way in the meantime. Both Bree and Rach are extremely talented shooters and each of our films on our website have been shot by them, solo. We shoot documentary style, so its really important to us that we can blend in to the background on the day, fly on the wall style. We find shooting like this allows us to quietly capture all the bits you didn't notice and catch the emotional moments as they happen.

What equipment will you turn up with on the day?

Our DSLR cameras, prime lenses and our selves! As mentioned above, we try to blend in as much as possible on the day, and shoot in a similar way to what photographers would, with our camera in hand and no huge sliders or 'traditional' video equipment (we've been there, done that, and that look is definitely not our thing..). We love the freedom and energy that comes with shooting hand held.

How/where do we sign up!?

To lock in your date we just need a 20% deposit, the rest of the balance isn't due until two weeks before your big day. Firstly, shoot us an email using our contact page, say hi and tell us a bit about what your'e planning and we'll try hook up a Skype/Facetime date so we can chat about it all.
